The York faculty is committed to a culture of continuous improvement. Inspired by Carol Dweck's findings, we refer to our approach as maintaining a "growth mindset." That is to say, we stay curious about how to improve our programs, our classes, and our teaching. Moreover, we are keen to not only support York's mission but to further it.
Please join me in recognizing the effort and attention our teachers have exerted for yet another year to keep York's program top notch.
We've attended conferences and workshops across California, around the nation, and even overseas; we've redesigned classrooms and courses; we've visited neighboring schools; we've incorporated new technologies; we've been reading and studying; and we've been teaching each other.
