Clubs

Clubs give you an opportunity to explore and develop interests outside the classroom, to gain new skills, acquire leadership abilities, serve local communities, and make friends on campus and beyond.

There’s a lot to do at York: with clubs, activities and opportunities to make a difference locally and globally, Yorkies are engaged. An eclectic and active bunch, York students do much more than study.

If you enjoy debating world issues, helping others in need, competing in math challenges, publishing creative writing, or even building rockets, there’s a club for you. From the more traditional to the quite esoteric, student groups gather at York to celebrate and learn more about their passions.

If you are interested in pursuing an activity that is not currently a club, you're encouraged to start a new one--while many clubs are consistent from year to year, there's always something new going on. Some clubs active in 2010:
