The Development Office is responsible for all York School fundraising efforts. In addition, the department oversees Alumni Relations, Special Events, Public Relations and serves as a liaison to the Parent’s Club, Alumni Association, Booster Club, and the York School Guild for the Arts. The Department publishes Break and Annual Report.
York depends on the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations to help bridge the gap between tuition income and the actual cost of educating a student at York School. Because we believe that talented students in Monterey County and surrounding communities should be given the opportunity of a York School education regardless of financial circumstances, 35% of our families (twice the national average) receive financial assistance.

Because of the value York students provide the nation and the world, we look beyond our school community to help bridge the gap between tuition income and the actual cost of educating a York School student.
Trustees, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, families and friends of York students join their neighbors, community businesses, foundations and individuals in raising the funds that are essential to providing educational programs of the highest quality, financial aid, computers and new technology, classroom materials, faculty enrichment, faculty and staff salaries, physical plant resources and maintenance.

Ventana Vinyards
Ventana Vineyards is proud to support York, especially the work York is doing to promote and protect the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. In honor of our partnership, Ventana Vineyards is making the following special offer to York supporters:
