It feels like just yesterday that I began my first day of school at York. Now, I am getting ready to move on to the rest of my life. Freshman year, I learned how to be social and jump out of my comfort zone. Sophomore year, I learned how to study and achieve academic success. Junior year, I learned what it is like to struggle, but also how to be strong and keep going no matter what is going on in life. Senior year I learned that time goes by fast and I should cherish every moment I have. York has been a beneficial experience in my life, and I will never forget the memories I have made at this school. It’s hard to believe graduation is right around the corner. Just a couple of days ago I had my last sports banquet, which was a big deal for me. I played three sports all four years at York and it was hard to see the sports chapter of my life end; however, looking back at all of the friends I have made because of sports and the overall great times I have had with my teammates, this is something I will always remember. York has been a positive, enriching experience where I’ve made friends with people I never expected and memories I won’t forget. Thanks, York, it has been a good ride!
