Prior to her clerkship, Christensen was a Litigation & Arbitration Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2013, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Berkeley Journal of International Law, a student advocate in the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP), and a research and teaching assistant. She held a summer law clerk position at the United States Attorney's Office, Northern District of California, Civil Division, in San Jose. Before law school, Christensen was an Accredited Representative at the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago.
Christensen is a 2006 graduate of The University of Chicago and a 2010 masters graduate of The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
