Health & Vitality Speaker Series: Cyber Safety
Community Education for Aging Adults

On April 23, York School 10th grader, Abigail Romero, gave a presentation about computer safety concerning techniques to be able to protect passwords. She focused  on identifying and avoiding phishing scams and how to “cover your tracks” by making use of incognito windows. She also spoke about how the internet can be a good, helpful, and positive tool if used correctly. Abigail is a student in Code+Design, a course at York School where students are charged with making a positive impact on their community with the help of technology.
