York Water Polo VS Pacific Grove

In their penultimate game of the season York faced off against Pacific Grove. Pacific Grove was coming off their first win of the season, and scored the first two goals of the game. Following a time out, York scored, and didn’t let up for the rest of the game. Kevin Daliri '21 was a strong presence in goal recording 18 saves. York had steals from 7 different players, and two great blocks from Zib Lindholm '22 and Quincy Key '23 On offense, York moved well, creating scoring opportunities for their teammates. Leo Del Toro '21 scored 4 goals, Sophia Sanico '20 had 3, and Matt Galloway '20 scored 2. Zib Lindholm, Quincy Key, and Oscar Fadem '22 also found the net for a final score of 12-4.
