Boys Soccer Going Strong
Posted 02/03/2020 12:41PM

The team officially began the second half of the season last Friday with a well balanced game against the Trinity Warriors. The mood was loose and fun as they took to the lush green York field for a beautiful afternoon contest. Frank Chen '22 started off the scoring at the 19th minute from a byline negative pass from Fletcher Gaucher '20. Jason Khan '22 scored next just 3 minutes later as the Falcons began to control the game and move the ball. Justin Vu '20 added two more goals during the second half and Jason assisted Justin and added to his team leading assist total. Kevin Daliri '21 had 4 saves and Nico Peralta '23 took his turn between the pipes for the first time during a league contest and recorded a save as the Falcons Goalies kept their first clean sheet of the season.
The 4-0 victory is a little less joyful because, sadly, we lost Frank Chen '22 for the remainder of the season due to a fractured right distal fibulae. Thanks Frank for giving it your all every time you stepped on the pitch and for being a great team player.
