Our commitment to teach, live, and build green is seen all around our campus. The centerpiece of our dedication to sustainability is our science building. Since then, we’ve installed photo-voltaic cells on multiple buildings and produce more than 50% of our energy needs via solar power. We have an extensive recycling program on campus and get students involved in sustainable practices like resource conservation and natural habitat restoration. York was the first school to be named a Monterey County Green Business in 2008.
