The 2019 volleyball season is off to a great start! Having graduated much of our starting lineup last year, this season will be a building year. We have a strong group of freshmen and sophomore players, learning the ropes and improving quickly. Our two senior captains, Yulissa Flores and Sooyeon Kim are leading the new players both on and off the court. Our season began last week with a loss against PCS, one of the most competitive teams in our league, our girls played well against such a tough team. We served well, had great defense, and worked on our blocking —  a new skill for many of our players. Kim had a handful of kills and digs, Flores had 2 blocks and some great serves, and one of our freshmen Adriana Brown served her first point in a varsity match. We are ready for another great season of Falcon Volleyball!
