The York Fund
York depends on the generosity of its parents, alumni, and friends for financial support every year. Gifts to The York Fund provide immediate support for various aspects of the academic program, student life, and faculty development.
Your contribution, of any size, helps fund:
- Teachers who are passionate about their subjects and creative in their delivery,
- Exciting curriculum that engages and challenges students to think differently,
- Music, art, and theater programs that foster creative expression, and
- Sports teams with room for players of all abilities.
You might be wondering . . .
One of York’s primary goals is to provide the highest quality education to any qualified student, regardless of economic background. If we raised tuition, many families would be unable to send their children here. Above all else, the diverse group of students makes this school extraordinary. They define our unique culture, and raising tuition would mean changing the student body. Without them, we wouldn’t be York.
Whatever your circumstances, thoughtfully consider the influence of York School on you and your family, and give as generously as you are able. As a small school, the success of our fundraising depends on each and every one of us. Setting up a recurring gift (monthly, quarterly, or bi-annual payments) is one way to spread your gift over the course of the academic year. You can do this using the online giving form or by contacting Michelle Lange, Advancement Services Coordinator at 831.373.4438 x114.
Our donors are thanked every year in our Impact Report. Leadership donors (those donating $1,500 or more annually) are invited to special events on campus throughout the year.
Donors in our Constance H. Bishop Society have a chance to meet their scholarship student and also receive updates on the student's progress.
Finally, the Fideles Society is our way of recognizing those donors who have given for five or more consecutive years.
