MUN Impact Global Summit Workshop

On Wednesday, July 22, York students, Leonardo Del Toro '21 and Cynthia Ortiz-Naranjo '21, will be presenting at an online summit hosted by MUN Impact.
Leonardo's talk will take place at 9:00 a.m., and is titled "Persevering through the Challenges of Philanthropy."
Cynthia's talk is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., and is titled "Refugees, a Humanitarian Responsibility that Can't be Ignored."
Both of these talks are a part of their Distinguished Global Scholar projects.
 
MUN Impact is an international organization that seeks to apply the knowledge gained in Model UN to real-world solutions. More than 700 students will be present from over 80 countries. Student speakers will be discussing topics ranging from systemic racism in the United States to the water and oil crisis in North Africa. The summit is from July 21 to 23. There are also summit sessions in Spanish: MUN-Impact Global Summit en Espanol.
