Poetry Out Loud
York's Poetry Out Loud Competition will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12. Come support Sky Brown, Nayeli Farias, Normandy Filcek, Rose Finn, Ava Hoffmeister, and Sofia Teresa Mejia Contreras as they compete to represent York School at the Monterey County competition in February.
Poetry Out Loud is a national arts education program helping students build public speaking skills, self-confidence, and learn about poetry and literary history through free educational materials and a national competition for high school students.
