Biography
Nina Kooroshfar was born and raised in Monterey, CA and is a York School alum (‘08). After living in the SF Bay Area for around 10 years, Nina returned home to Monterey along with her husband, John. Nina now has a one year old baby boy, Sam, and works remotely for Meta within their Business Product Marketing organization. Nina recently hit her 10 year tenure at Meta, where she works as a Program Manager conducting market research for creators across the Instagram, Facebook, and Threads platforms. Her research has taken her to various international locations including Sydney, Shanghai, Lisbon, Dublin and London. She conducts studies across various topics including AI, brand partnerships, and tooling to name a few. Along with her market research responsibilities, Nina also has her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and manages a team of ~20 direct and extended reports. Nina is very excited to join the York Board of Trustees. York holds a special place in her heart, mainly due to the community and lifelong friendships she’s been fortunate to nurture over the years.
