Jenny Kanter is parent to current York student Ayden ‘27. She was born in the Bay Area, and has lived in Monterey County since 2016. Jenny graduated from UC Davis, went on to Stanford for her Ph.D. in Immunology, and Harvard for her postdoctoral fellowship. She conducted research on Multiple Sclerosis, and later transitioned careers to healthcare consulting. At McKinsey & Company, she spent almost a decade growing a business unit from start-up to over 1000 people, eventually leading a global team as Director of Strategy & Operations. Her skills range from professional development to finance and margin management, and she championed open communication and continuous feedback loops for the highest personnel satisfaction. She looks forward to bringing these skills to serve York, where her family has found an inspiring, diverse community. |
