Gabriella (Gabi) holds a Bachelors of Science in Education, a Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialty in Curriculum Design, and a Post-Graduate Certification in Education and School Management. She has been a math and science lead teacher, as well as a learning specialist, before stepping into this role as Director of Academic Support. Gabi is so excited to start this new chapter at the York School! For a decade she has dedicated her career to helping students with neurodivergence, and strives to make learning safe, fun, and accessible for every student. Her education and career have allowed her to work with students in Louisiana, Mississippi, and most recently, Georgia. As a New Orleans native, she is enthralled with the California weather. And, on the average day, she enjoys taking scenic walks with her dogs, trying new coffee shops with her wife, and cuddling with her cats.
