Hi, I’m Lisa Prochazka, and I’m excited to join York as Finance Manager. I’m originally from California, where my connection to independent schools began as a student at The Thacher School. I spent many years in New York City working in independent schools and museums, with roles spanning finance, operations, and human resources. I returned to California to work at Stevenson School and, most recently, the Monterey Museum of Art. I earned a BA in psychology from Brandeis University, a BS in nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and an MBA from California State University, Monterey Bay. I also hold a professional certification in human resources from the Society for Human Resource Management. Outside of work, I enjoy classical music, museums, and the arts, and I stay involved in the arts community by serving on the boards of the Carmel Music Society and the California Association of Museums. I look forward to getting to know everyone and becoming part of the York community. |
