Sydney Choi '22
Sydney Choi focused on Asian Studies at York. She is bilingual in Korean and English, and she studied Chinese through YAS Level 4, after which she was inducted into the Chinese Honors Society. She took Asian Politics, and has been active in the Asian Culture club. For her capstone project, she participated in an action research project with the non-profit Asian Cultural Experience and presented on “Youth and Families” in Salinas’ Chinatown at York’s pop-up exhibit and Asian Culture Expo. She also took Global Cinema at York, and she was awarded summa cum laude for her performance on the National Latin Exam.
