Tommy Gu '22

Tommy Gu is bilingual in English and Mandarin and has studied Spanish at York. He earned a Bronze Medal in the Level 4 National Spanish Exam. He also took Global Cinema and participated in Model UN. He took an intensive course in International Relations at Tufts’ Pre-College Program, where he researched cybersecurity in China. For his capstone project, he worked with Stop AAPI Hate, a youth campaign organized by students at San Francisco State, and he participated in the action research project in Salinas’ Chinatown. At the Asian Culture Expo, he presented on Chinatown’s community organizations.
