Camilla Martin '22

Camilla Martin is a dual Danish and U.S. citizen, and has been studying Danish independently in order to connect with her heritage. At York she studied Spanish through YAS Level 5. She was inducted into the Spanish Honors Society, and she was awarded two silver medals in the National Spanish Exam. She was a member of the Hispanic Culture Club and the Head of Conference Coordination for Model UN.  She was given the “Most Diplomatic Award” at PANAMUN and an Honorable Mention at GauchoMUN at UCSB. In collaboration with Heather Galinato, she organized, hosted, and chaired York’s first Model UN Conference. In addition, Camilla was enrolled in Asian Politics and Asian History, and she was awarded a gold medal on the National Latin Exam.
