Kurrun Sethi '22
Kurrun studied through YAS Level 5 of Chinese at York, participated in two CLTAC Chinese language Speech Contests in San Francisco, and was inducted into the Chinese Honors Society. He studied Asian Politics and participated in Asian Culture Club. He was also Treasurer of Model UN. He participated in the action research project with the Asian Culture Experience, developing a survey of Salinas’ Chinatown residents to learn more about its changing demographics. At the Asian Culture Expo, he presented on “Chinatown as a Safe Haven” for local Chinese, Japanese, and Filipino communities.
