Growing up Bicultural
I grew up in a bicultural household, experiencing both Russian and traditional Western culture. Coupled with my studies of French language and culture in high school, these experiences kindled within me a love for learning about different parts of the world, and I want to continue exploring the different facets that define a society and separate it from another. Then I hope to be able to use what I learn to understand the different perspectives of people, to apply what I learn to my understanding of this increasingly interconnected and globalized world, and to also share why being able to understand other people might be the key to a peaceful Earth.
