Kathryn Brewer is proud to join York School as its first learning specialist! Born and raised in Texas, Kathryn hails from a family of teachers so it was inevitable that she would become one herself!
Kathryn graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science, then continued on to Texas A&M University to earn a M.Ed. in Educational Psychology. She has taught in both public and private schools from elementary through high school in Texas and California. She also worked as an educational diagnostician in Texas. Kathryn is looking forward to helping students reach their full potential and find fun and meaningfulness in their everyday learning.
In her free time, Kathryn enjoys running on the beach, reading a good book, listening to her favorite records on vinyl, and deciding how she will bring joy into the lives of those around her!
