York School’s Choir and Chamber Choir are proud to present the 6th Annual Holiday Concert at the breathtaking Carmel Mission Basilica on Friday, December 11, 2026 at 7:00 PM. This year’s concert will take audiences on a musical journey around the world, celebrating the rich diversity of international holiday traditions. From the joyful French carol “Chantons Noël” to the Hawaiian lullaby “Nu?oli,” from the Hebrew spinning song “S’vivon” to the South African anthem “Sizalelwe Indodana,” our students will share music that reflects cultures, languages, and stories from across the globe. The program also includes Japanese, Appalachian, and traditional European carols, alongside beloved congregational favorites such as “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “The First Noel,” “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” and “Silent Night.” Audience members will be invited to join in song throughout the evening, creating a shared and meaningful holiday experience within the historic walls of the Mission. Accompanied by Tiffany Hoffman, featured instrumentalists, percussionists, and student soloists, this concert blends artistry, reverence, and joyful celebration. Now in its sixth year, this annual tradition continues to bring together York families and the broader community in one of the most beautiful sacred spaces on the Monterey Peninsula.
