York Choir Heads to NYC for MCP’s Broadway Series: Jane Eyre at Lincoln Center We are thrilled to announce that York School’s Choir and Chamber Choir will return to New York City in February 2026 to participate in Manhattan Concert Productions’ Broadway Series presentation of Jane Eyre at the iconic David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center. This marks our third consecutive year performing in this prestigious series, following our memorable experience with Anastasia in 2025 and Children of Eden in 2024. Jane Eyre, the Tony-nominated musical adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s classic novel, features music and lyrics by Paul Gordon and a book by John Caird. The production will bring together a distinguished creative team and a full orchestra, offering our students an unparalleled opportunity to engage in professional-level rehearsals and performances. During our time in New York, students will not only perform but also immerse themselves in the city's rich cultural offerings. The itinerary includes attending two Broadway musicals, visiting museums, and historical neighborhoods of New York. This experience promises to provide a comprehensive look into the life of a Broadway performer, blending rigorous artistic preparation with cultural exploration. Last year, our participation in Anastasia was a highlight, and we are eager to build upon that success with Jane Eyre.
